What began as a shoot-from-the-hip experiment was processed into a series of degraded street shots with this being one of the first to come out of my camera phone. The focus was wrong but I really liked the stance of the teen in the far right and the mid-action of the teen on the left. That, mixed with the diagonals and the deep shadows led me to begin altering the look to be more abstract. Color was stripped and clarity boosted. Then I added scratches and ghosts of film artifacts, eventually blowing out the whites so that they bleed in fuzzy lines into the deep blacks.

I look forward to your comments.
