Seed seller

The gentleman, discovered in the back streets of the main market in Osh Kyrgyzstan, works a small set of tables laden with packets and bags of seeds of all varieties. In a slow relaxed manner, he pointed out some of his customers’ favorite flowers and vegetable seeds, asked me about the climate where I will plant those I showed interest in, and steered me away from some that he reasoned wouldn’t enjoy life in the scorching heat of the California Central Valley.
